Dinner tonight was local leg of lamb rubbed with anchovy paste, garlic and rosemary and roasted with onions, carrots and potatoes. We also had Brussels sprouts sautéed with olive oil and shallots and then braised to finish. And just to make the night extra special a growler of Edward from Hill Farmstead.
Now to curl up in front of the fire with S and thank my lucky stars.
#100best dish of the day: The chicken-liver baguette at Post Office, with rich, smooth chicken-liver mousse; crisp bacon; sriracha-infused mayo; and crunchy frisée coated with green-apple vinaigrette. Yum.
