Dinner tonight was local leg of lamb rubbed with anchovy paste, garlic and rosemary and roasted with onions, carrots and potatoes. We also had Brussels sprouts sautéed with olive oil and shallots and then braised to finish. And just to make the night extra special a growler of Edward from Hill Farmstead. 

Now to curl up in front of the fire with S and thank my lucky stars.

Between Houston and Rhinebeck S and I only have 1 evening together this week. I took advantage and made a special dinner of crab cakes, salad and homemade spicy tartar sauce (and Hendrick’s and tonics).  I love quiet nights at home, yummy, healthy meals and S. Love.
