I’m can’t wait until you come home on Sunday. I warn you, it’s not nearly as nice here, we had a little snow today.
We close on our house in 11 days! I am so excited. I’m also going to miss laying in S’s bed with the windows open and listening to the waves break on the shore. This is the view from his room. (Taken with instagram)
S and I took a chilly walk with the dog today. (Taken with Instagram at Burlington Bike Path Bridge)
Dear weather, our lake is at it’s highest level, our homes in low lying areas are flooded and May is bike month. Please lay off with the rain, okay?
I love that for me this is true for bikes and skates and sailboats. Keep moving forward.
I agree with the bikes part of this and can vouch for it’s authenticity.
I’ve heard it’s true with skates.
I can’t support that sailboat statement though, you know, because of sharks.
There are no sharks in Lake Champlain. Bring the whole family, I’ll take you sailing.
Holy on, that sentence looks weird. Let me fix it for you:
“There are no sharks in Lake Champlain THAT I KNOW OF, BUT THEY ARE PROBABLY THERE HIDING AND CAN’T WAIT TO EAT YOUR whole family”
Damn, my plan is foiled. I didn’t even mention Champ, the lake monster.
Returning to last night’s epic and amazing sunset over Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont.
I live in a beautiful place.

Flying Squirrel – See you later, little boat. Time for dinner!
I miss days like this. Is it summer yet?
