Hello, old friend. Did some work on the boat today to get her ready for sailing (when the water finally recedes) including measuring for a new mainsail cover.

Remember my old sailboat blog? Yeah, I almost forgot about it too but it’s fixing up season again so expect more progress and sailing photos.

I miss days like this. Is it summer yet?

Last sail of the year. It was sunny and the lake was beautiful but the wind was shifty and gusty and the wave popped up out of nowhere right after this photo was taken. If I had to use one work to describe my last sail of the year it would be harrowing. (Flying Squirrel)

This post is from June 4 last year. Did we seriously not get out on the water until June 4!!?? Ugh, last year was so cold and rainy. This year will be so much better and we will be out there all the fucking time.
