Client: (lividly) “This needs more blow. It’s not blow enough. You have to add some blow.”
Me: “What are you talking about? I can’t understand what you need from me if you keep using terms like ‘blow’”.
Client: “Put me on the blow thing. How do I do the blow? I don’t know why I’m paying you, when I have to do the whole thing on my own”.
After a while I figured out that “blow” meant “blur”, and I explained to her that I had already blurred it as much as possible without losing all definition in the image. To which she replied: “Well, let’s try some ‘flu’ then”. I was the 5th person to fire her as a client within a month.
i've noticed you're a roller derby girl... are you by chance going to the Windy City Rollers derby coming up?
I would LOVE to see Windy City but unfortunately it’s a long haul form Vermont. :)

Laying in bed listening to the thunder and rain and wishing for sleep. In the meantime I’ll distract myself thinking about visiting friends, taking the girl to hike Snake Mountain and hitting up a BBQ for dinner. ♥ 3 day weekends.
